Blue and Green Quilt Top

I started this quilt back in the summer when I was living in Ohio. I finally was motivated to finish the top. Hopefully I can finish the back really quick and get it quilted! It is eventually going to be the bedspread for our bed.

Baby names

I finally told students that I was having a baby boy in march and they will have a sub for at least 6 weeks. They immediately began shouting out name ideas. I had them write their ideas down so I could show "Mr. Sanchez". Here are the ones I thought were pretty funny...

I love the notes about Damon and Damian.

I got a lot of Michael, but not one was spelled correctly - like Michelle.

And Atom instead of Adam. Love it!

Salt Lake Temple Lights

I am in YW now and for mutual on Wednesday night we took the girls up to see the lights at temple square. It was nice because four of the six girls who came were less active.

Oh Boy!

We are excited to announce baby boy expected March 2nd!

The Beginnings

It all started when me, my roommate and my brother wanted to play a game of basketball but our ball was flat. We decided to go over to Felipe's apartment (not knowing he even existed - but we did know his roommate had a basketball we could use). It ended up that Felipe's roommate invited himself and Felipe to come play with us.

During the game we both tried to flirt with each other (I say "tried" for a reason here...). After the game, sadly enough, we didn't end up seeing much of each other for a few months. Here and there we would see each other at church and say hi and eventually we decided that we needed to hang out. We ended up going to a movie and having the theater to ourselves. About a week later we went to another movie and flirted a lot more over this week or so. Finally on Feb 16th we became a couple and have been happy ever since!
