Since this week is spring break we made plans to go down to Helper on Saturday and then journey on to Moab for a quick vacation. Well, the lovely Utah weather decided it was going to snow and rain, which made our Moab idea not work so well.
We did go down to Helper to visit Sally, Grant and kids on Saturday. It was fun to hang out with all the kids and watch them play their songs on their new piano, help Sally cook amazing food, and relax! We also got to go to the Price History Museum. They had cool dinosaurs and Native American artifacts.
Here is Fil in front of the dinosaur bones...
The triceratops is one of my favorite dinosaurs!
Doesn't this guy look like he wants a hug?
Sometimes Fil gets really into looking at fossils. Or maybe he was stretching his legs?
I don't know why he can't take a normal picture...
Lily came with us to the museum. Don't you love her black eye?
Me, standing in front of a Woolly Mammoth, it was huge!
We had a great dinner of rabbit (I couldn't eat that) and peanut chicken (my favorite). Then we drove home in a blinding blizzard through the canyon. There were a few times when we could barely see 5 feet in front of our car. We made it home, even though we had to drive like turtle (if turtles could drive).
Snow... in APRIL? annoying.
It didn't work so well but this is what we could see driving home - just snow. It was hard to tell if the road was going to turn or not. Luckily we were able to drive behind a few cars so we could use their light to guide us as well.
For the rest of spring break we are hanging out in Orem, going to the zoo, going shopping, hanging out with friends, and best of all relaxing! It should be some good times.

I lauged so hard about the dinsaur who wanted a hug. I never noticed it before but now that you mention it it looks just like that.
I just don't understand why you guys didn't spend the night. Oh, maybe the fact that there wasn't anymore space in the closet. :)
