Valentines Day Crafts

So I have become creative with the help of my awesomely amazing sister! (ok so mostly she did this with a little help from me). Here are my exciting decorations for the up-coming heart day:

banner that says "be mine!"

the decorated plates that are always in my kitchen (just a little more valentines-y now)

our lovely brown door with some vinyl decorations (it also has hearts all over which didn't make it in the picture)

It isn't much but at least our dull apartment looks a little more exciting now! Happy Heart Day (and long weekend!)

The Beginnings

It all started when me, my roommate and my brother wanted to play a game of basketball but our ball was flat. We decided to go over to Felipe's apartment (not knowing he even existed - but we did know his roommate had a basketball we could use). It ended up that Felipe's roommate invited himself and Felipe to come play with us.

During the game we both tried to flirt with each other (I say "tried" for a reason here...). After the game, sadly enough, we didn't end up seeing much of each other for a few months. Here and there we would see each other at church and say hi and eventually we decided that we needed to hang out. We ended up going to a movie and having the theater to ourselves. About a week later we went to another movie and flirted a lot more over this week or so. Finally on Feb 16th we became a couple and have been happy ever since!
